Oracle Integration Cloud Tutorial

3. Create an Integration: Click on the “Integrations” option in the left-hand menu. Then, click on the “Create” button to start a new integration.

Configure the integration: Give your integration a name and optionally a description. Select the role as “Invoke” or “Trigger” based on your integration needs.

Configure the endpoint: For each connection, you need to configure the endpoint. This will typically involve specifying the URL of the application you’re connecting to, and providing any necessary authentication details.

4. Mapping Data: Once you’ve established the connections, you’ll need to map data between the source and target applications. OIC provides a mapping tool that lets you drag and drop fields between your source and target to define the data mapping.

5. Activate the Integration: Once you’re happy with your integration, click on the “Activate” button to make it live. You’ll be able to monitor its performance through the dashboard.

6. Testing your Integration: Oracle provides a testing suite where you can test your integrations. It’s recommended to test your integration to ensure it works as expected before deploying it to a production environment.

This is a very basic overview of how to use Oracle Integration Cloud. The platform has many more advanced features like process automation, API management, and visual application building.
